Who We Are
We are a community that has grown by the grace of God and lives with the clear purpose of knowing Christ and making Him known. We are united by faith, friendship, and the conviction that God transforms lives, families, and cities.
Our story began in a simple way, around a table, with a small group of friends eager to know God, study His Word, and pray together.
What started as an intimate time of seeking slowly began to grow, drawing in families and friends who were also longing for a real encounter with Jesus.
In 2017, that desire became official with the founding of Amistad McAllen under the covering of Amistad de Monterrey. Later, in April 2024, God led us to expand His work even further when Church of the Living Word came under the pastoral covering of Toño and Judy De Lizardi, giving birth to Amistad Weslaco.

Campuses
Amistad RGV has two campuses: Weslaco and McAllen. At both locations, our community gathers with one heart and purpose: to know Jesus and make Him known. Each campus offers services, Bible studies, and weekly activities designed to strengthen faith, build community, and live out the Kingdom of God in everyday life.
